I tried searching, but didn't have any luck... I've been listening for a year or so, have not been on the forums much..

In the last week or so, there has been loud ATIS and static when there is dead air on the KMYF Tower feed on LiveATC. Real transmissions seem to take precedence, but the looping ATIS and static make it hard to listen to. During peak times, it's OK, but when I'm generally listening there are only a few planes in the pattern, and the occasional ILS low approach.. so the static and ATIS are distracting.

The only think I could find in the FAQ about questions on a particular feed said to post here... anyone have any ideas if this is intentional or if maybe something got knocked out of whack (that's the technical term, right?) at the feed?

On a related note.. for KMYF there are multiple feeds:
SoCal APP
SoCal Dep
KMYF Tower
KMYF Ground
All of the above.

I'd love to be able to just hear KMYF Tower + Ground on one feed without all of the SoCal chatter feeding commercial traffic into KSAN. Is there somewhere to ask for that kind of thing?

Thanks

I'm sure Dave monitors these posts and he will pass the info to the feed provider. Your request may or may not be possible, depending on the resources of the feed provider, ie., a second scanner.
