Audio w/ freed journalists on board?
« on: August 05, 2009, 02:19:03 PM »
Just out of curiosity, does anyone have any audio from the airport where the plane landed that had the freed journalists on board? Or does that airport not have a LiveATC feed yet? I thought it was LAX they were landing at but then I saw a screenshot from a news station with their graphic saying "Burbank" so I'm not sure. I just wonder if maybe it was even noticeable through whichever airport they landed at and their tower.

Thanks,
Jordan

For future reference, it's preferable to post requests for audio on the Listener's forum.

The plane, N2121, landed at Burbank which is the home airport of the aircraft's owner, philanthropist, Stephen Bing.

There may be some audio to be found on Los Angeles Center frequencies but you have to weigh the interest with how much time it will take to track it down. Without a precise time of if and when it entered the airspace, you could end up searching through hours of archives for nothing. Normally flightaware can give you a ballpark estimate if you can find the flight plan however the activity of this plane is blocked by the owner.
