I don't think this link has been put up here before - video of the BA 777 making its gliding final approach - check the apparent angle of attack (OK deck angle to be precise)!

Also I have seen a still pic of the aircraft just after touchdown and still in motion ploughing (plowing if you're American!) the turf between the perimeter fence and the runway but I can't find any site hosting it - any ideas?

The AAIB issued a bulletin http://www.aaib.gov.uk/latest_news/special_bulletin_s1_2008.cfm yesterday. There is nothing conclusive regarding the cause of the incident. If someone is missing a red plastic sealant scraper, the AAIB might have found it.  :mrgreen:

There is a safety recommendation regarding operation of the fuel cut off switch on 777s.
