Boston Center stream now has text tags
« on: April 21, 2005, 06:00:47 PM »
As an experiment, I've set up text tags on the Boston Center experimental stream and added a bunch more frequencies...the list of frequencies will be updated soon.  The scanner is a BC780XLT.

What this means is that you will see what frequency the scanner stops on as you listen.  It works with Winamp but doesn't work with some of the other MP3 players.  Get Winamp at www.winamp.com .  I think it also works with iTunes.

Enjoy!

As it turns out, the tags don't synchronize well on iTunes.  Use Winamp.

Dave the tags in Itunes work just fine for me  :D

Hopefully if I get the money to extend my serial cable, I might be able to do the same on the BDR feed.

Lookin good  8)

Just curious, How do you set up text tags? What eq. and configuration is needed for text tags like Boston Center's constantly changing for the freq. that's a cool feature.
