Listening to Boston Tower, There seems to be one particular controller (soimds like a spanish guy) seems to say "hasta la vista", etc, often and have more fun with his job then most. Anyone know who it is? He was on shift tonight, and is on shift at this moment...

He's the best!  I think he's the same one who says "MOCHA HAGoTDI" to all the Cape Air pilots.  And he may be the same one with the infamous "cyaaaaaaaaaaaa," but I forget.  I'll try to post some of those once I dig them up.

I've heard him before when he was on shift.

You will definitely never forget this controller after you've heard him.  I'd be neat to go meet up with him for a few hours before and after his shift.  Sounds like a humorous guy.  Dave, I think you're right on the "Cyaaaaaaaaaaaaa," I believe he says that, but I'm sure more than one controller is known for that in BOS ATCT.

Makes both his and our lives interesting and fun.  Those kinda controllers are the best!  8)

He was also saying something that sounded like "Colgoooooooooooooalan" (mimicing "GOOOOAALLLLL!!!" the soccer chant....).. he'd do it every soo often... makes things interesting.. very friendly guy tho... the pilots had even remarked hes making quite a rep up in the NE. I'd agree.. I'd be happy to work with that guy... Dave, you'd be good off to find some of the best stuff around yeterday afternoon... I think around maybe noon to 3.. anywhere in there...

I heard him on yesterday too.  When he handed off an Air France A340, he said "Au revoire".  He said some other comical things but I can't remember them.

There's one radio op for ARINC New York...sounds like he's been around for a while. He knows a lot of the pilots by name as they know him by name. He's good to listen to...VERY professional. He also has a female carbon copy, she tends to work CAR.

A few of the NY controllers sound like they're having fun as well...

Here in the north of Ontario, pilots are re-reminded ( as the expression goes) for pilots to re-remember to make their mandatory calls prior to entering the control zone.  One controller said "You can switch to North Bay radio on one-eighteen-three, just to say hello" lol

Yes, that's the one.  I have flown out of Boston Logan at least twice with him as the tower controller and he is very entertaining to listen to.
