Champaign Approach Problems
« on: January 15, 2006, 12:37:27 PM »
I'm the host of the Champaign Approach feed, and I've been noticing that when I listen to it the feed just stops in Windows Media player.  Does anyone else have this problem with my feed?

I find this problem occurs with many of the feeds including the one I host (KBVI).  I think the problem may be with the LAN which the feed is served on but that's just a shot in the dark.  Dave or Jason could probably provide a  more definitive answer.

I am using a wireless network however I have a very strong signal.  I know I can host other things without any problems though and  my internet always seems to work perfect.

1) What operating system does the feed run on?
2) What is the computer spec?  CPU speed, memory, etc.
3) Type of LAN connection (did you say it was wireless?)
4) Type of Internet connection?

Well I just ran it for 30 minutes so it seems to be working alright today.  However yesterday it wouldn't stay playing for longer than 5 minutes.

1)  Windows XP SP2
2)  P4 2.66 618MB of RAM (Dell Inspiron 5100 Laptop)
3)  Wireless LAN, however I have a perfect signal, says connected at 54 mbps
4)  Insight Cable Internet, 4 mbps connection
