CLASS C KCMH
« on: June 09, 2008, 04:18:55 PM »
Is anyone besides me not able to hear the CMH feed.  Can hear others but not them.

Thanks

How do I get this to the Feed Outage topic.  Did not mean for it to be under this topic.

You should be able to see the Feed Outage board listed at this link:

Are you implying that when you clicked that link you didn't see the forum there, as I show in this screen shot?  Huh... I assumed that forum was available to all members.

No it was there, I thought I was in that forum when I posted.  My mistake.  This forum is not as intuitive as others I am in, or should I say as easy.   Point being it will not allowm me to delete the post even though I am the author and realized after it was posted that I posted it in the wrong topic.

By the way, smroot, apologies from straying from your original question but to confirm your observation I am not getting any audio on that feed either.

Just about all the feeds here are operated by volunteers and often times the scanner and PC used to upload the feed are in areas where there is a lot of people movement.  A common issue affecting feeds is that someone bumps the volume on the scanner or the audio cable connecting the scanner to the computer pops out.  In these types of cases the feeder may not be aware of a problem until someone points it out here.

Hopefully the volunteer who provides this feed will see your post (I am going to ask Jason, the moderator, to move your topic over to a more appropriate forum for you) and correct the problem, especially since there are t-storms moving into that airport's area today, making for exciting listening!

Hey no problem there KSYR-pjr and thanks for the update on the feed.  Since that is close to my home airport I listen to it for familiar tail numbers.   I fly in and out of KLHQ which is only about 20 nm from CMH.

Thanks to Jason for moving it for me also.

I'll contact the feeder and see what's up - either wrong sound input selected or the scanner is off or dead.

Thanks Dave - and by the way ---I notice your tag says founder.  while I am new to the forums I have been a listener for at least a year and a half or more.  Great job and thanks for the hard work and effort you have put forth.

No problem...it was a dead battery in a handheld scanner.
