Has anyone come across info regarding the diversion of CommutAir 4786 to BGM from SYR this morning?
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UCA4786/history/20120704/0930Z/KSYR/KIADWith Binghamton being as small as it is, we rarely see diversions unless it's an absolute emergency....planes will normally return to destination or divert to KABE or KSYR. Haven't seen anything on the news or Avherald and ZNY 133.35 (CFB 50) is not covered here so won't be able to pick up the diversion via comms. Plane continued to IAD after a couple of hours on the ground.
It's funny, less than a week after CommutAir started United service to BGM we get to see a diversion.
