Pan Am/Flying Tigers / Seaboard World ATC
« on: March 27, 2010, 08:58:29 AM »
Hi all,

I'm brand new to Live ATC so apologies if this is the wrong forum for my post.

I live in Northern Ireland and have been airbanding since the start of the 80's.

I have good memories of hearing the Clipper and Tiger callsigns and was wondering if anyone had any audio files (especially B747) for Pan Am/Flying Tigers / Seaboard World that they could email me?

Many thanks in anticipation

Trevor

Hi!

Firstly, absolutely the correct forum for your post so no worries there.

I'm an airbander too from Scotland. I've posted some recent clips of Edinburgh that I recorded myself.

As for old stuff, there was a couple of recordings posted here a year or so ago - I'll put the links below. I fully acknowledge it's not entirely what you're looking for, as it's Manchester and Heathrow, and I don't recall either of them having any of the airlines you requested, but they're worth a listen anyway.

Thanks again for the reply 8)

Yeah,. I'd love to hear that recording if you can get it online! It's the year I was born, so it'd be interesting to see what traffic was like back then!

Edit - Just read my post above and saw I said Manchester and Heathrow clips...That should clearly be Birmingham and Heathrow.

I as well would enjoy the clip. Any old school stuff would be cool. I miss Pan Am and the other giants of that era...
