Hi, there

Is there anyway this can be done? If so where, and how? I'd love to hear JFK on my Ipod!

Right now Apple doesn't have streaming MP3 support (a la iTunes) for the iPhone.  iPhone uses QuickTime, which can play static MP3 files only.  So you can go listen to archives right now...we will have a better interface for the iPhone and the web to browse the archives, but at least you can do it now.

You won't be able to have live streaming until Apple releases software that allows MP3 streams to be played.  As they are starting to open the iPhone platform up I have to believe and hope that something will be released in the next few months.

If you're just looking for files to play on your ipod (makes excellent pain distraction at the gym, I hear) you can download audio in the archives.  Just learn how to read Zulu time (GMT) and you can download 30 minute blocks a month back during those rush hour pushes.

Pick your feed and time, submit, right click on the green "listen" button, save target as, and you're set.

i find the Atlantic Oceanic HF feed to be rather excellent in providing distraction from pain whilst at the gym. there's something about the static and white noise that's rather soothing. ^_^
