Emergency Landing at KPHL
« on: December 14, 2008, 08:23:38 PM »
Saw it on the local Philly news, CRJ-200 as AWI3819 was unable to lower it's left main landing gear. 3 crew on board, no passengers. Landed safely but backed up Philly quite a bit. Many of the flights diverted to BWI, MDT, and ABE.

I'm listening to the archived feed right now, but you can hear discussions between emergency crews and tower pretty early on in the feed.

That's the unedited 5:00-5:30 pm feed. Not much around the actual landing, but you can hear the events unfold throughout the clip.

Shouldn"t this be moved to the Audio Clip section?

My fault on that- was originally going to post the news article when I was writing it, then dug up the audio clip. Please move if necessary.
