After extensive tweaking to the feed, finally an equipment upgrade paid off.. listen to that link for about 30sec you will hear

"ILS 04 practice approaches Racine traffic"

"711CK wind 320@13 altimeter 2986 negative traffic"

That is me on the Racine UNICOM freq.. I guess the transmitter only has about a 1 mile range on the ground. I live about 5 miles from the field and with the antenna position I guess I was able to get a better signal... my next project is to get the antenna higher and be able to pick up the fuel trucks. ther transmiters are only about 3 watts.
