Terry,
Welcome to LiveATC. It's a volunteer supported site covering HF, VHF, UHF aviation bands. Volunteers around the
world, though mostly in North American, provide the feeds from their locations covering airports and enroute
aviation communications. Legal here in the USA where the site is based. Understand you folks across the pond
can't listen in to your local aviation comms. So, you will note, I believe, that there are no feeds from England.
Enjoy listening in and hope you get to feeling better.

Welcome Terry, and please enjoy listening to whatever you find interesting.  One place to start might be the "Top 50 List" on the left sidebar.

I would just add that it may be difficult to understand what is being said.  New pilots sometimes take a while to get accustomed to how quickly people speak in the busier airspaces, but it will come with experience.
