Yup, flightaware isn't that new, but it's a great resource.  Love the great new look they added today!

I was shocked today when I loaded their page up... I thought I surfed onto the wrong site for a moment.

The thing I don't like about FlightAware is how it tracks specific routes for specific flight numbers.  For example, flight AIR123 might fly from Toronto the Chicago in the morning, and Chicago to LA in the afternoon.  It will only show one of the two routes, no matter which one is active.  Great site otherwise though!  :)

...and I don't think you have to register for any updates, but is probably recommended.  :)

Does this update live, or does is have to be refreshed every now and then?

I believe it refreshes every 60 seconds, but you can obviously refresh quicker than that if you'd like by manually pressing <F5>

I don't know if it's different for different places, but for YYZ atleast the refresh is set to 90 seconds (1:30).  If you have an HTML editor.....  ;)

I couldn't find the refresh rate in the code that I quickly glanced at, but you are probably right regarding the refresh rate for airports.  I was referring to the refresh rate of tracking an individual aircraft.  The two numbers may vary.

The page refresh is at the top, META REFRESH ...something... 90 (seconds).  I tried hitting refresh and noticed off refresh times, as if it's not consistent?  Eh, still a cool site!  :)

There's a link to flightaware for all of the tower feeds, takes you straight to the flightaware page for that airport.

It's labeled 'xxxx flight activity' from the feeds page, where xxx is the airport name.

Sorry, I know I'm missing here... I'm not following?  Where is the feeds link on Flight Aware?  Tower feed?
