FOD
« on: November 29, 2007, 12:25:27 AM »
For the past 10-15 minutes, LAX has been dealing with some FOD on 24L and shuffling planes over to 24R as a result.  But then they got overloaded.  Just now, it sounds like the controllers swapped a heavy (on final for 24L) with someone else (on final for 24R).  They gave a visual separation and cleared the heavy to land on 24R and the other guy to 24L.  Interesting.
