I guess I just would have thought that if the feeds were established on this site, there would need to be some sort of permission granted to post the links on another site.  I have next to no knowledge of how ownership and rights to websites work, so I may be completely wrong.  Sorry for being unspecific.

I dont know myself what protocols there are..I was merely drawing attention to the fact that there were links to this site on Vtuner...I only spotted them today myself.
I suspect that the argument will go that there is a convention that links to a site are posted with that site owners permission/approval, as a gesture of good neighbourliness, but that also seeing as the world wide web is a network of interconnected links, then that's the whole point of putting up a website.. the expectation that others will link to it, which is the way it seems to me that webrings work.
Its an interesting discussion, and may be a bit off topic..but what do others think?

Well here goes it's free advertisment for Dave in a way because they do have links to the main web page. And i think as long as they don't take credit of the links there all right.

I believe they have contacted me before.  As long as they provide links to my main site then it's OK.  If they don't, I'm less than pleased.  And if too many sites do that (linknto the audio links without giving credit to the site), then I'll be forced to do what atcbox.com has done, which is to implement a system that requires a login...and all the links will be constantly changing and obfuscated.  I'd rather not do that.

So I do appreciate listeners pointing these things out.
