« on: February 03, 2016, 08:40:27 AM »
Passing this along from a posting on a regional scanning group....I can vouch for this guide...it's an excellent value.

"IMHO a terrific monitoring reference source to take to any air show is 'Teak Air Show Guide 2016', 17th edition.   The guide is in the Kindle format and it can be purchased at a very nominal price of $3.99.

See: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AVLCGU4?ref_=pe_2427780_160035660

Digging into the guide there’s tons of frequency information on just about every demonstration team whether it is US or foreign military; or civilian performers (approximately 25 US military teams, 2 Canadian military, 21 Foreign military teams, and 49 civilian performers.   Also potential  support frequencies being utilized at airshows by major demo teams and others.  For the major team schedules he also has specific airport frequency information such approach/departure control, ATIS, tower/ground, command post/metro/base ops.

Here’s the table of contents to give everyone a good idea of what is available in this comprehensive guide:

Thanks ... I hadn't heard the Blue Angels were exploring a transition to the Super Hornet.
