Houston feed?
« on: May 31, 2008, 07:37:49 PM »
In regards to a new feed, my suggestion would be to get Houston, Texas.  I say this, because my brother, who used to fly for ExpressJet, says that they have a controller who is nuts.  Apparently, alot of pilots who fly there recognize this guy because he is always happy, and has thus earned the nickname from all pilots as "Happy from Houston."

Any pilots on here who know who i am referring to, give a shout!

Ever heard the story of the guy that says "JetLinkin" / "JetLincoln". I'm friends with the guy that started that. He works at I90 (Houston TRACON). It's weird since I mention it to a BTA pilot and they'll always say "I've talked that guy!"

I'm the SAT feed provider and I'll be moving to Houston so I'll change it up and start providing Houston when I get there.

Awesome!! When are you moving here? I scoped out a good location to put an antenna that should be able to get TRACON, KHOU tower, KIAH tower, and KSGR tower. Let me know if you've got a spot in mind or are interested in where I have lined up.

Thanks!

Sean
