HF Central West Pacific (CWP1/2)
« on: April 10, 2011, 09:03:09 AM »
A VERY BIG thank you to the feeder of the HF Central West Pacific (CWP1/2).  This is my favorite feed.  While there are user controlled SW radios on the web you can listen for a just a few minutes.  Here in my Northern California location I am listening to what is DX (maybe rare DX)  here, at 100% clear copy.
Before '9/11' I visited Cairns and had a shortwave radio with me and the DX was great,  a very nice location for DX'ing.

An example  yesterday afternoon I was listening to these HF stations at the same time on the same frequency Brisbane, San Francisco (via Hawaii, maybe Alaska or even Tokyo), Mumbai, and Manila.  A great day for propagation.  This is shortwave radio, sometime you'll hear what I did  the, next one or two stations, then nothing.

Give it a try

Thanks for feed back regarding HF Central West Pacific (CWP1/2) feed.

Can be a difficult area to cover due to the extent of the east/west boundaries.
