just joined liveatc.net. i am an avid air traffic listener on both hf an vhf and a licensed ham radio operator here in chennai, india. i landed here by accident while i was searching the net for some other details. immediately i decided to be a member and here i am. i use a yaesu vx5r for vhf and an grundig 400 pe for hf, but hopefully  i will get a drake r8 soon for hf, saving some pocket money for this purpose dear friend.

well i am going to study everything here and hopes to have a long association with your operations

Hey Satyan

Welcome to liveatc. Personally I would love to have a feed from india. That would be awesome. On a slight cautionary note, it would be wise to check the laws of sending ATC communications over the net. Recently there have been some problems for the UK feeds and they were taken down. Hoping it all works out.

10018, 8879, 5658, 3467 - bombay hf air traffic control

8861, 8909 - these frequencies are used for local traffic control.

these frequencies will be of interest to friends who will be doing dx  hf monitoring originating from india.

Hey Satyan - welcome to LiveATC!  It's great to see people on here from other areas of the world.

I'm curious though, what frequencies are they, exactly?  What are their equivalence in MHz?  :)

hi there, tomato if i can call u like that buddy.

all those are hf frequencies used for long distance atc communications and hence all of them are khz. usually reference to mhz frequencies takes place in the vhf band 118-136 segment. try to listen to those frquencies in canada using a good hf comm. rx and see the results.
