Nice clip.  I had the opportunity to visit the old tower cab many years ago and this was nice to see how the new ops is.

Just a reminder...please avoid derogatory remarks about individual controllers.  There's no need for that.

I think what he meant to ask was   Where did that wonderfully handsome controller with the freshly pressed pants, matching socks, and stellar shirt go?  It seems that he hasn't been heard on the feeds in a while.

What ever happened to Dennis at the JFK Tower?  I haven't heard him in a long time.  He is the "good flight, great day" guy.  A very entertaining guy to listen to.

I've got a video from the late 90's dealing with ATC there.  Very informative.  I posted it before on Demonoid and if you want it, let me know.  It's about 80 mb and called "Near Miss".  Also where I go to school, Embry-Riddle made a video with DAB ATC, I will try to take that one off blackboard if anyone want that too.  Just let me know.

Hey Spuds,

I'd definitely be interested in the DAB video, I've seen "near miss" and it was quite interesting.

Thanks !

I believe Near Miss has already been posted on here.  It wasn't too bad.

Most likely know but the controller in the video with the white hair and matching regal looking white beard is the "Alan Alda" voice we hear.

I have been flying the NYC area for 25 years. JFK are great to work with. From Air sea rescue jobs to 9/11, these air traffic controllers are some of the best!
