"The crew of a Jetblue Embraer ERJ-190, registration N258JB performing flight B6-1781 from Orlando,FL (USA) to Nassau (Bahamas) with 84 passengers and 5 crew, reported a left hand engine fire indication while on approach to Nassau and accelerated landing. The tower controller confirmed seeing a fire near the left hand engine. The airplane landed safely, passengers and crew evacuated via slides. No injuries occured. The fire was quickly extinguished by fire fighters."From:
