Anyone else hear a bad hum on class D  KCDW??

Yes, I tried to listen to the KCDW archive today and the loud hum makes the transmissions unintelligible.  Based on a quick check of the archive, it seems like this problem started on 11/15.

Sorry about that guys. I'd heard the hum and thought I'd checked all connections. I figured it was just the soundcard starting to go bad. As it turns out, the connection from the scanner audio output wasn't tightly connected.  I fixed the connection 2 days ago, sounding much better.

I just came to this forum to post an announcement in case anyone was curious, and found this thread. Nice timing Smiley
