Hey everyone,

Just wanted to see if others are picking up the constant static on KSYR Tower/App. I know the feeds get reported as down to Dave when it goes offline, but I didn't think the same happens when quality degrades. Want to make sure it's the feed and not my computer.

Static stops when controller/pilot are speaking on the freq, but remains audible at all other times. Ground/Delivery is static-free.

Edit: The static started about a week or so ago.

Sounds like the squelch is a tad bit loose. It comes and goes when no one is talking.
I think I hear some talking way down in the noise so it may be interference opening the squelch.

FYI- static has made a return on SYR TWR/APP, Ground/Clearance feed is still OK.
