Good luck to all those former IAIR employees.
Does anyone know how much UAL's ticket sales went up in IAD?
and are we (TAX PAYERS) stuck with some of the bills of IAIR?

A former flight instructor of mine had been trying for fifteen years to make it to the majors.  He was flying smaller, prop-driven commuter aircraft for the last eight or so years.

Last year I learned that he was hired by Independence and trained to fly their Airbuses.    Now, he is out of work.

A sad day for their employees, and a sad day for those of us who live in a city only served by two discount carriers, Jetblue and Independence.

The most likely reason for the indication would be because the flight plan was submitted before the last flight on Indepenence.  So it could have showed an Independence flight expected to arrive, but it just didn't exist after Thursday.

I don't quite know what you're asking....but take a look here:

http://flightaware.com/live/airport/KIAD

I don't see any Independence arrivals.

Haha, I just happened to notice the equipment suffix for this last flight.  CRJ2/G

What a way to go.  /G is almost as low as you'll ever see an RJ.  /A would be the worst.
