I'm still playing with (and incessantly tweaking) the tower. Also, I'm in the process of implementing a few elements that Dave asked me to look into off-board. I'll hopefully have more to show later tonight.

Can't reveal too much right now, but I think you'll all like what you see Smiley

OK. After consulting a bit with Dave, here's what we've got right now:

Changes:
  • Tower cab enlarged a bit and whitespace between it and the base of the "i" increased.
  • Radio waves re-added, but with a (IMO) much better location and angle. Thanks to Dave for suggesting this one.
  • Kerning between lettering tweaked just a hair, and tagline moved up a touch as well for balance.

Right...CafePress.com has made a nice business out of this.

Heck, that would motivate me enough to order something from CafePress.  Althought the current logo style would work great as an embroidered logo instead of the screen that CP does.

Edit: I mean just the URL and not the tag as embroidered.

Looking great.

Something else to ponder (directed at the group):  In regards to the first part of the slogan below the link that reads "Live traffic..."  Might that be confusing to the non-flying masses?  Would it be more meaningful if it read, "Live Air Traffic?"

I think I'll go ahead and second Peter.

Nice job there with the logo's.

Are new towers that are being built like the one CactusHP has in his icon?

I saw that someone asked for an aircraft in the logo, is this what you had in mind?  I am not affiliated with LIVEATC.NET in any respect other than a member and future feed host so if this offends anyone I appologize in advance and you can simply delete the image but thought it would be kinda neat to have an aircraft in the logo as well... This is a rough one, took me 5 minutes to do, just throwing the Idea out there.... Enjoy

Oh by the way, if your going to change the logo, do I need to wait on printing the flyers to hang up at our FBO or should I just use the ones you already have up?? Just a thought.....

I wouldn't hesitate to start hanging up the flyers.  The logo change may not happen for a while -- we have a lot of other things going on behind the scenes.

Thanks,
