It's completely irrelevant, but then again, no one said the mainstream media was real smart to begin with (especially aviation stories).

Well, I do have a lot of free time at the moment.  smiley Hell, these days, you can pretty pick a random 5 minutes between the hours of 5 and 8 at JFK and you'll get something good.

Any clue as to the new airspace plan at the end of this summer near JFK is going to be?  Maybe a reconfiguring of the initial fixes to ease up the load on Departure and Center


(Hope it doesn't mean the end of my favorite approach, the parkway visual 13L/R)
