Looking for Memphis Center (KZME) Recording
« on: September 22, 2015, 11:00:58 PM »
Hey gang, I'm trying to find a specific audio recording of Memphis Center frequency 135.87 between 1525-1535Z on 22 September (today).  I don't know if it'll help, but we were on approach to KJAN and I'm just trying to track down something interesting that I heard.

If anyone can help me find a recording for that time I'd greatly appreciate it.  Thanks!

Unfortunately, 135.875 is not covered by a liveatc feed; there is no liveatc recoding available. Sorry :(

If you act fast you can always try a FoIA request:

Good luck.  :-)

Why were you on 135.87 if you were on approach to KJAN?  That frequency is for GLH Low sector (67) and spans from just east of GLH along V278 to just east of TXK and north to PBF and LIT.  Just curious.

We were doing simulated air refueling training in the GLH area and were making a stop at JAN.

I suppose I should've worded that better...we weren't "on approach" but were heading to that field.

Thank's for the replies guys.  It's not really a FOIA thing, but thanks for the suggestion.
