I've found this tool to be quite useful to monitor the airport conditions while you are listening. It is especially useful when conditions are deteriorating (as they are now at KCLE):

http://adds.aviationweather.gov/metars/java/

You can zoom to any section of the country (drag with your mouse) and get automatically-updated weather conditions.  Lots of options at the bottom to play with.
