New Australian Feed VHF Northern NSW
« on: October 30, 2010, 11:37:54 PM »
Hi All.
Tune in to the frequencies in Northern NSW Australia. These are in the region YBBN and cover the routes between Sydney and Brisbane airports. This includes the east coast cities in between which are serviced during the day. The traffic drops off after about 10pm local (11:00-16:00 UTC) but you will hear freight traffic and international overflights during this period. My uplink is located near YCFS Coffs Harbour.

The YBBN channels being scanned are
127.2 Point Lookout (YBBN/YSSY Route)
130.9 Tamworth Area  (YBBN/YSSY Route
124.625 Oceanic routes NW Sydney
118.2 Coffs Harbour YCFS Tower and CTAF
122.6 Coffs Harbour and Grafton Areas
120.55 Port Macquarie Area
134.2 Point Lookout
120.95 Coffs Harbour (Not listed in November AIP so maybe to be discontinued)

Enjoy
Niall (alphanull)

Hi alphanull,
I host a few ads-b receivers for FlightRadar24 and FlightAware in Armidale.
This side of receiving audio is the next area I'm starting out on and found your info interesting.
Would be good to share info as it becomes available so will keep in touch.
Regards,
Nigel (yarmarmidale)
