Online player problem
« on: October 06, 2012, 10:36:42 AM »
Greetings !
From recently, i'm experiencing  some problems with online liveatc players. I've lost possibility to move slider which conroles playing time on every of my web browsers(opera, hrome, mozila,IE). I mean, slider is always locked on the left position and that is very annoying for  me. I've updated my flash player but problem still persist. Any tips would be appreciated ...Tnx

It's a streaming player...the slider has no effect.

I am not aware of any player that lets you scrub a live stream.

So what you are trying to say Ser is that there is no way that i can move playing time 1-2 minutes backward if i want to hear some plane again?
I mean, i can do that from this PC, but on my second pc , i lost that posibility ...

See this pic?

Slider is working just fine on this PC, on the other one it is locked on left side,...

My flash player in Firefox on Ubuntu lets me go back a few minutes, but that's it. If you play the MP3 stream with Movie Player there is no buffering. If you really want to be able to buffer up, at least on an iOS device, go to the App Store and get "TuneIn Radio". At first it appears to be just another internet radio player, and it's actually a pretty good one, but it also allows you to add custom streams to your favorites AND it will buffer up to about a half hour when you hit pause. Further, it is very good at re-connecting automatically when your connection is lost and later restored. So, when I am doing errands around town driving in and out of hot spots, I will pause when I go into the store and resume when I come out, resulting in uninterrupted listening throughout.

I'musing RealPlayer for the live streams and have no problem using the slider to go back and repeat any portion of the audio, to listen to, or record anything interesting.. That way, don't have to wait for the archive data. Obviously can't go forward of the slider though!
