I read on the frontpage that there are new streams from Lisbon and Vienna but both are down...What's wrong?

Nothing's wrong.  People put their own time and money into these feeds.  Where's your feed?

What Indytower means is,

All of these feeds are voluntary by individuals in most cases, done by ATC/Aviation enthusiasts at their home computers, using their own scanner equipment. Most do it to share their local ATC communications for the enjoyment of the hobby.

So likewise not all computers hosting the feed can be up 24 hours 7 days of the week, sometimes due to situations beyond their control (i.e. weather, pc problems, etc.)

Bullshit, don't start a feed when you not able to put it only 24 hours. Nobody cares about a feed who's only online for a couple of hours. Do it good or not...

Erwin34, please do not post topics with offensive language in them.  The above statement is your opinion and only reflects you.  You should be very respectful and show that respect for all the volenteer feeders including Matt since they put many hours of time into their feed as well as money.

By the way: No where does it state on this website that a feed must remain up for 24 hours.

Then don't rant about 'Voluntary' feeds having to be up 24 hours. Whenever you spend your hard earned money on equipment, and run a feed. Along with that, keep it up 24 hours, 7 days a week. Then we'll talk.

Where are you from?  Maybe there's something around you could feed.  There's usually something to listen to just about every where.

So let me clarify here.  You come and listen to our feeds for your enjoyment.  You then tell us that we should have our feeds up to please you 24/7 and there should be no exception when we're putting our time and money towards keeping them up.  Then, when I ask if you may be able to start a feed so all of us would be able to listen to and enjoy, you say you have no interest in helping out and you have no interest in giving.  Do I have all that straight?
