CZQM Moncton Center frequencies?
« on: October 04, 2012, 07:58:39 PM »
I get complete silence when listening to CZQM. Anyone know why? Did ATC change frequencies? The feed listing says it is up and running.

We will look into it.  The frequencies are not likely to have changed.

This would be an interesting feed. I'm wondering if the person that operates the "CYYT Gnd/Twr/Gander Center" radio would be interested in running a short term test by puting the high altitude center/radio/delivery frequencies in the radio to see what reception is like ? If reception is good, and they can accommodate them, I would be up for donating some radio's for such a setup.

Hi JetScan1,

I help out by putting up the CYYT feed.  Are you still looking to test out some freq?  If so, pass them along and if ok with Dave, I'll make some programming changes.

Cheers,
Ian.

No issue with changes...I just need notification if they become permanent.

Hi Ian, thanks for the reply. Yes I'm still interested in checking out the high altitude sectors in that area. If it's not too much trouble could you set up the radio to scan the following frequencies please.

125.075
128.175
132.050
134.700
126.900
122.375

It would help greatly if you could only scan these above frequencies and lock out what's currently being scanned to avoid frequency congestion, also helpful would be to turn OFF any scan delay function if applicable. Just temporary for a few days or however long you can do it for would be great, much appreciated !

Cheers,

Please have the feeder check their scanner.   The scanner is stuck on one frequency

i dont like this idea at all i listen to cyyt feed day in day out why the hell would the lad need to lock out the frequencies alreay scanned on it prior to adding these he would at all, ! all he need to do is add new ones on to it doesnt need to touch the frequencies already there or lock them out, have you thought of adding your own feed jetstar1..? i think it would be best

I would love to see 132.7 135.2 127.125 133.35 126.325 addition for NE sectors of Moncton added bordering Gander such as 132.525 and 132.95 as well as being added .
