Incident: Easyjet A319 near Leeds on Mar 26th 2009, champagne bottle causes medical emergency

The crew of an Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration G-EZBR performing flight U2-239 from London Stansted,EN to Edinburgh,SC (UK), needed to declare PAN reporting a medical emergency as the result of a champagne bottle departing a locker unexpectedly and hitting a passenger on his head. The airplane landed in Edinburgh ahead of schedule, where the passenger was handed over to emergency services.

The passenger thought at first, that he was okay and declined assistance, but fell unconscious later in the flight prompting the crew to declare PAN and accelerate landing in Edinburgh.
