Look for coverage of the visit on KCCI-TV and here on KCCI.com.

Timeline

11:30am: Arrive In Des Moines
Travel to Newton
Tour Trinity Structural Towers plant in Newton
Travel back to Des Moines
2:15pm Leave Des Moines

I would say times posted are local time.

Will be watching from work.

The only thing I found was the approach recording and then handoff to tower.  If anyone knows what center they came from and maybe we can get more.

At 5:39, AF1 checks in.
At 9:16, says something about heading ok for visual app.
At 12:22, says something about a flock of birds
At 12:52, AF1 calls the field in site and gets cleared for visual.
At 13:20, gets CTL rwy 31.

We don't hear both sides of the conversation on most of the transmissions.  Again I am at work and cannot edit the clip.  Not as much chatter as when they came to Ottawa last month.  Quite uneventful.  Maybe the departure will be better.

AF1 was the only one in the airspace on arrival. So it was boring...
