Anyone know anything about oshkosh feed being down, or if it will be up for airshow in like two days?

I speculate that there will be no Oshkosh feed this year.  Feeder went dark last year and never resurfaced.

A feed is coming up today near Milwaukee that should catch some of the en route traffic.

I can set up an Oshkosh feed if I can get internet access on the field or in the city. All the equipmnt is ready to go. Anybody know anybody?

I would gladly contribute funds and equipment to someone willing to host an Oshkosh feed, but the caveat is that it would have to be online before the initial arrivals on Saturday and Sunday.   The many, many funny and tense moments would be well worth the price.

Perhaps next year we regulars should start some type of organized push to get equipment and knowledge into the hands of a local willing to provide the proximity.

Nick, I do not mean to undermine your effort.  It is better than nothing and actually sounds loud and clear.   I do hear many airplanes en route, but it all sounds too organized, which makes sense given the location.  :)   The truth is that because it is not on the field and scanning the OSH frequency, the feed is missing the excitement and chaos of the busiest airspace in the US for this week.

Feed is now offline.. thanks for all that listened today.

Look for a permanent MKE feeds coming in September! One that will be based at the field.
