My wife just purchsed it for me and the first instruction in setting it up say to park the car in a shaded area where it is 70-90 degress to install the contacts. Can I install it now albeit it is Late Nov here in the NYC area and it would be until late spring I can do so. Really wouldnt want to wait till then to install the setup. Can I install it now and start listening as well as any members here have the same setup fro their vehicles ?? If so how is this antenna for airband listening ?

have one on my pick up truck.works ok
i mounted the base low on the window for a low profile look
meaning the top of unit is only 1 inch above roof line.
I would reccommed mounting the base high on window so tip of unit is 10-12 inches above roof line.
Mount it in a garage for 24 hrs for glue to take.
Matter of fact with the forcast for this weekend you should be fine
