KLGB - Long Beach feed

Does anyone know what happened to the feed from Long Beach - KLGB? It's been down for more than 3 weeks.

yeah, this is a bummer.  I have lunch at LGB almost daily and heard some great stuff last week and went to the archive to pick it up and it was down.

I'd love to see both LGB TWR freqs covered and drop FUL also.  Missing a lot of action by not covering both freqs.  with the all the intersecting runways it gets busy on both.

Kirk,

How were you able to listen to the KLGB tower -- using your own scanner, or is there a receiver on in the terminal restaurant? (And if you use your own scanner, what kind is it? My scanner doesn't have a squelch, so I get very loud static between transmissions.)

I use a Sportys Transceiver SP200 that has scanning ability.  It's my backup I carry with me incase I go Nordo.  Works well as a scanner though too.  But if all you want is a receiver/scanner, it's too much.
