The recent Radioshack (PRO-92,93,95, 2053, 2067 etc) scanners can recieve UHF airband by using software programing and cable. www.starrsoft.com
has some of the most popular software. The software for the 92,93,95, 2053, 2067 is freeware. The rest have 15 day trials.
One thing to keep in mind, there is a lower sensitivity on newer GRE made radioshacks that need software to recieve UHF airband than the Uniden bearcats with UHF airband out of the box. I get decent results on UHF airband with the PRO-95, although I'm using the 785D now for the feed.
