New York Tracon HAARP sector 120.8
« on: February 22, 2014, 09:05:54 AM »
For those of you that are interested in this sort of thing, it looks like 120.8 (HAARP) has be operating out of the Douglaston RCAG for the past couple of days.  I can hear the ground side of the transmissions quite clearly from my location in western Suffolk County...

Thanks, Ron…seems we're getting better reception on 120.8 now form our receiver site in Manhattan.  That Douglaston site is a good one.

Yeak I like that site too.  And in the evenings it's gets more interesting when 120.8 begins to cover additional Tracon sectors like 127.3 (EMPYR) and 120.4 (KLGA DEP).  Great stuff!

120.8 seems to have gone back to its original transmitter site...can't hear the ground side from here anymore.
