Saw pushing Tin and.......

Typical Hollywood BS, those two controllers would have been fired and jailed, little too much BS, now deleted from my DVR.

I started watching it, but got disinterested after the whole "cowboy" controller thing. I just guess I wasn't in the mood for a drama movie.

I have been told, that while the details were weak, it captured the "atmosphere" of a busy center, and the way controllers interact in that atmosphere, very well...

That was ok aside from the part where he ran 1aircraft between 2 others.

I just saw it recently too.  Seemed like a chick flick to me.  Wasn't what I expected.

It was funny if you can remove yourself from reality. That's the job of movies. If you watched it with a critical eye toward actual ATC then you would be surely disappointed. It was a bit of fluff, but the non-real ATC stuff was kinda funny on a level.

I liked the Lord of the Rings and other sci-fi stuff, but none of it exists. A movie about real ATC without some dramatic moment would likely gross about $27.50 at the box office. That is if I could lie to a couple of friends in to going. LOL. We love this stuff for what it is. The general public just doesn't get it. We are a very special breed it seems.

I do understand your point LAPTOP. Cheers!!
