Just wondering...

is the delay turned on for the scanner feeding Toronto Centre? It doesn't seem like it is.

Further to this, it sounds like other frequencies are stepping on the currently locked in freq.

Please leave the delay turned OFF. Why do people like this delay function ? Personally I find it extremely annoying, a 2 second delay after every transmission sure wastes a lot of scanning time, the beginning of a lot of transmissions end up gettting clipped and you end up just missing more on the other frequencies. If it's busy and there are say 10 transmissions in a minute that means the scanner is locked on that one frequency for an extra 20 seconds/minute, blocking out the other frequencies you are trying to listen to. If you can't follow what is going on without the delay function on it problably means you are scanning to many frequencies to begin with. All just my opinion. DJ

jetscan, totally agree with you... (refer to my discussion forum started recently on CZYZ feed... one more example that there are WAY too many freqs on this feed... I've stopped listening to it altogether... frustrating at best)
