Shannon High Sectors/Frequencies ?
« on: June 11, 2012, 01:10:49 PM »
Listening to the EINN Shannon Control (High) feed I noticed a new frequency in use - 129.665.

The best chart for Shannon airspace I've been able to find so far is this one (link below), but it does not break down the sectors.

http://www.iaa.ie/safe_reg/iaip/Published%20Files/AIP%20Files/ENR/EI_ENR_6_4_EN.pdf

From listening, and using the above chart, it appears 129.665 covers the western half (when required) of the depicted sector 131.150.

Also observed in use is 127.130 and 134.630. I'm just curious how the other sectors are further subdived as required ? Anyone have an updated frequency list (High Altitude) and know what sectors they are used for ?

They don't seem to be listed in the Irish AIP document ?
