I'm glad to hear CYXL on the air.  Almost like listening to our local FSS in Timmins.  I noticed the pilots calling Winnipeg Center n 132.2.  Is this possible to include?  I think perhaps the scanner can't receive the CYWG tx's huh?

122.00 - Sioux Lookout Radio (FSS)
126.70 - Local Traffic / Float Traffic Reporting
122.80 - Float Traffic (Summer Season)
132.20 - Winnipeg Center

It's listed next to the link and I heard aircraft on the freq earlier.

I see that listed, but I heard some pilots depart Sioulx Lookout, call CYWG ctr and no response.  I could only hear the enroute freq 126.7 and the FSS.

I also heard an aircraft being told to contact Winnipeg on that specific freq (132.2) and then heard the aircraft calling Winnipeg...I was pretty sure I heard the controller respond.  It's a possibility also that the feeder can only pick up one side from his location.  I'm listening now but am not currently hearing any a/c being told to contact on 132.2...I'll update if I heard it again.

The transmission tower for YWG center is about a 10 minute flight away. It seems that Winnipeg can only be heard when you're a few hundred feet AGL. Unfortunately my antenna tops out at about 17 feet AGL... :?

I sent a quick note to update the monitored frequencies listed on LiveATC. 132.20 will remain on the scanner, but the most you will likely hear is the local IFR traffic calling center.

Sorry 'bout that

If anyone has suggestions... i'm all ears!  :D

You are right.  I verified Canairradio's website and sure enough, there isn't a published frequency for CYXL.  Only YXL radio/fss, 126.7 common wx freq and company freq's.  They sound just like our fss though.  Nice to see we're not the only remote community with a local fss operation.

These are the updated frequencies that I sent to Dave. Hopefully he'll get some time to update the streams page.

Sioux Lookout Radio (MF) - 122.00
Winnipeg Radio (RCO)  - 126.00/126.70
Local Traffic - 126.70
Company Operations Frequencies - 128.95/129.20

I'm also still monitoring 132.20 (YWG Center) but it still sounds like a one sided conversation  :P

132.2 CYWG center is located in Dryden 40 miles from CYXL, maybe someone in Dryden could set up a feed
