There is a SoCal feed that handles Ontario and Los Angeles (the STADIUM and some low banning sectors I think) but no, there is no dedicated SoCal feed for LAX arrivals and departures - which is a bummer.

Set distance? Yes, it is the boundry of KZLA/KZAK - Los Angeles Center and Oakland Oceanic

Frequencies? No idea, but most of the communication is done via ACARS and SELCAL, there is very rarely a need to go through ARINC or voice these days

The Socal ONT feed has the Downe sector (128.5) which handles the final approach to the south complex (25L and 25R) as well as East Feeder (124.05) which merges PDZ/MITTS arrival flows. If your interested in Oceanic arrivals, you need to be listening for the Socal Coast sectors and Downe, but wecan't get Coast and we can only hear the pilots for a short while on 124.9 therefore you won't be able to hear anybody coming in off SLI.

The KZAK/KZLA border is approximately 300nm off the Coast of Los Angeles (DUETS/EDSEL/FOOTS intersections) for aircraft above FL240 and 200nm (DINTY/ELKEY/FICKY intersections) for aircraft below that.
