I am down in Florida for the week and while at the Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport happened to hear the Tampa TRACON use 124.95 and was curious about this frequency since I haven't seen it before. Is this a new frequency or is it just a backup in case 119.65 (South Satellite) is out of service. There was a lot of chatter on the frequency with the controllers guiding aircraft into both Sarasota and Tampa so assume that they were running combined sectors.
This is the current list of Tampa TRACON frequencies that I have:
East High: 135.50 Mhz
East Low: 119.90 Mhz
West High: 118.80 MHz
West Low: 125.30 Mhz
South: 119.65 MHz
Final: 118.50 Mhz
