USAF 11175 feed
« on: October 31, 2015, 08:53:47 AM »
Great to see the 11175 HF feed back online after being down for a few weeks. Much appreciated by us milcom monitors. There does seem to be a slight problem however. The receiver is in fact on one of the Gander Oceanic frequencies, possibly 5616 or 6622 and not on 11175. I just wondered if the feed provider was aware. Thanks.

We'll look into the current set of frequencies and make sure the listing is accurate.

There is still a problem with this feed. During the major exercise last weekend not a single communication was heard on the feed. I have my own radios and other online means with which to monitor, but many are not that lucky. I have compared my own logs to the archived logs of the feed and there was nothing whatsoever. Before it came back online everything would have been audible, it had superb audio. It costs money to keep these feeds online, this provider has three for instance, but I feel they should be taken down, until it is resolved. This will prevent users listening for hours end and hearing nothing.

This issue is now resolved after some site maintenance.
