Hello!

Pouring in So Cal!
It may be good listening for certain airports and plane watching. This weather is supposed to last through Friday. If anyone sees or hears anything crazy weather related please post here.
Thanks and try to stay dry  :-o

Obviously, today cuts it.

KLAX: East Ops.
KBUR: normal ops (landing 8 and 15, departing 15).
KONT: East ops. current METAR has winds at 040 at 10.
KSNA: Normal.
KLGB: South/East ops all day, but just flipped the boat (winds during the day were 180 at 10 gust 15.
KSFO: East Ops all day. Currently, landing and departing 19L/R.

Great time to listen to a west coast feed.

Here's what I noted that day, at roughly 5:19pm local time (0119Z).

KSMF: 28.96.
KRNO: 28.96.
KMHR: 28.93.
KSFO: 28.93.
KLAS: 28.97.
KSAN: 29.30
KLAX: 29.17.

I was hoping SFO would have gone 2/10ths lower, as it would have made FL200 completely unusable.

EDIT: KEKA broke it, up in NorCal. From the National Weather Service in Eureka:

Quote
RECORD EVENT REPORT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE EUREKA CA
920 AM PST THU JAN 21 2010

...ALL-TIME RECORD LOW BAROMETRIC PRESSURE SET AT EUREKA CA...

AN ALL-TIME RECORD LOW BAROMETRIC PRESSURE OF 28.90 INCHES (979
MILLIBARS) WAS SET AT EUREKA CA YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE LONG
STANDING RECORD OF 29.91 INCHES WHICH WAS MEASURED IN FEBRUARY OF 1891.
