San Diego has been off the air for many months now. As these feeds are provided by volunteers who devote their time, money, bandwidth, and equipment, there really is no guarantee a feed will be around from one year to the next. About the only one that is guaranteed is Boston and that is because the site founder hosts that one himself. If that one goes for good chances are the site is gone, too.
Speaking specifically of SAN, though, I have a relative who last year moved to within five miles of the airport. At first he didn't have a job and lived with a roomie so he would not commit to hosting a feed, despite gentle pressure from me. Now, though, he has a well paying job and has a place of his own. He will be in my home town early June so I am going to see if I can address all of his concerns to make setting up a feed there as painless as possible (I will provide all equipment, manage the laptop remotely, and even pay him a few bucks to offset the electrical costs). Stay tuned.
In the meantime if you know someone a bit more eager to provide a feed in "America's finest city" then please take the helm!
