Live Feed/Desktop/Sidebar
« on: February 14, 2007, 08:55:18 PM »
Does anyone know how I can anchor a live feed to my desktop, or the Vista sidebar??  I want to have media player (or something else, dosent matter) playing in the backround without being in my way at the bottom, or floating around the screen.

Like in old windows you were able to add a webpage, and things like that to your desktop - Is there any way in Vista?

I have Vista Home Premium...

Thanks in advance for ANY help you can provide!!!

Have a great day!!!

-Andrew

have you tried searching through http://widgets.yahoo.com/ for something where you can put in the address of the stream into the widget and have it play through there?

the vista sidebar are yahoo widgets i think.

Good idea!  Thanks!  I messed around with it for awhile, but didnt have much luck....

I will have to download the developer pack and see what I can do with that.  Otherwise, I hope someone who has some experience with developing those type of things has something to say.

Thanks again - I will keep searchin!
